First appointments are crucial in terms of assessing your needs and making sure we are a good fit. I offer free 15-minute phone consultations before the first appointment in order to assess for initial fit and answer any questions you have. Our first official appointment together will include assessing your history, coming up with goals, and determining how best to move forward to facilitate change in your life.
Ongoing appointments can look different for each person. Using a customized approach to treatment, I make sure that your needs are honored, recognized and that we work together each session to come up with a way forward that works for you.
My out-of-network rates are:
Intake: $325
55-minute session: $265
45-minute session: $215
Many insurances offer out-of-network benefits, meaning that I can offer you a document called a Superbill that you can submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement of part of our sessions. In addition, you can use your Health Savings Account (HSA) to pay for sessions. This typically makes therapy much more affordable for most. If you have questions about this, absolutely contact me!
If you are looking for therapy at a sliding scale rate, I recommend checking out Open Path, which matches people with providers for $30-$60 per session for a small initial fee ($59 lifetime membership).
All sessions are conducted through HIPAA-compliant video software via SimplePractice. Each week, you will receive a unique link by email to join your session. You are welcome to connect using a computer, tablet, or phone. If the connection is unstable or the internet goes out, we can seamlessly switch to a secure phone session, ensuring your appointment can continue without interruption. Your privacy and continuity of care are always prioritized.
Absolutely! I understand that some people may not be ready or able to engage in weekly therapy at this time. If you’d like, I can provide self-help tools, exercises, and reading materials to support your well-being between sessions or as a starting point for growth. These resources are designed to be practical, accessible, and tailored to a variety of needs, helping you take steps toward positive change at your own pace.
